My School, Your School

Room 5 has read a big book called "My School, Your School". This book looked at a school in India. We also looked at Mrs Smith's book on children in Zambia in Africa. We compared the schools and especially looked at the classrooms. We sorted the information using a matrix and a Venn diagram.

We found out that even though we have more equipment and furniture in our classroom, the children in other schools still want to learn, to have fun and are part of a community. You see we are the same but different!

  1. What great sorting if the information Room 5. I liked the way you used the information to come up with a statement. School in Africa is certainly a lot different from what we have in New Zealand. Well done keep up the great learning.
