Making a jam sandwich

Room 5 has been learning how to make a jam sandwich.

Yesterday Room 5 made sandwiches. First you get bread, butter and a knife. Then you take two slices of bread. Next you spread the butter on the slices of bread. Then you put the slices of bread together. Finally you slice the bread into triangles. Then you eat the yummy bread. The bread was very tasty. - Ben

The other day we made jam sandwiches. We got two slices of bread and then we put the butter on the bread and then the jam and then ... we cut it. Finally we can eat it. When I tasted it, it tasted lovely. - Zoe

Yesterday we made jam sandwiches. It was delicious and fun too. I wish we could do it again. That was the most fun thing ever.We ate them for brain food. - Patricia
